} time goes by

today was my last day at the Pro Bono Services Office. :( i think im really going to miss the place a whole lot. from the start it was really a very heartwarming place with the most down-to-earth people. although they take their work seriously there is also always a lot of laughter!

although it sounds exaggerated i do feel blessed to have got to know the people at pro bono. with every person i meet i feel a little bit closer to finding out the person i want to be, and with the people at this office there's definitely a lot of things i want to learn from. im glad i had my 2 week stint here because more than any ordinary internship it was really like a crash course in customer service. getting used to picking up calls at the first ring (im used to wait until like, 10 rings). getting used to talking on the phone. hahaha. it sounds so stupid but its true! the first time i registered an applicant i stammered so badly but the systematic-ness came quickly enough, with practice. 8D

and, interviewing offenders. going to prison!! geraldine (another attachee) was right, it does have a certain feeling of doom the moment you enter. might be something to do with the narrow room and and the grey walls.

well as a little parting gift all the interns ordered the famous koi bubble teas for everyone :) we had a lot of extras cos of over-counting (we are not math students after all hahaha) and a few left early... so some got 2 cups. a very sweet and bubbly day overall! haha i am annoying and high and punny today.

although im actually sad. because today was the last day of the attachment. :( HAHA i really was ATTACHED to the pro bono office after all HARHARHAR ok i will stop talking now
