} the vp debates

as always, the best way to get over whatever is troubling me is to either: 1) solve the problem, always easier said than done, or 2) get over myself and pay attention to something else.

so i watched the US vice presidential candidates debate this morning.

i thought it was quite exciting. i duno if its because im inherently biased towards Obama, but my overall end impression was that Biden is much more likeable than Palin. he's like a grandpa who is still very passionate and intelligent despite his age (a bit like beckman, the sls international law prof) while she seems like a typical irritating soccer mom on the set of desperate housewives.

this is a disturbing thought, but i think i may be sexist. i find over-the-top feminists ridiculous and irritating. i have an inherent belief that men are better politicians, lawyers, chefs, professors. i tend to prefer male musicians to female, with few exceptions. men sports are more interesting than women sports. the only exception - i think women make better doctors. i have a strange set of preconditioned beliefs...

in general, i think a lot of women just try too hard. to act tough and play on that girl-powerr thing.

ok, im back to talking about myself again, so i will go back to my memo now. i will i will i will.
