} fine la, dun friend me

being the busybody that i am, i messed around with my brother's worksheets (and everyone wonders why he keeps losing them, heh) and found one titled 'A friend is...' . and the instructions read 'please complete the sentence "A friend is......" by writing on the lines of the web qualities that you look for in friends.' basically theres a spider web below that with spaces to write in.

and my brother wrote all his definitions of a friend there, and there are so many requirements that im afraid i havent been a friend at all for all my life. e.g. one of the definitions of a friend is 'someone who does not annoy you on a regular basis'. i think that if everyone is so particular, i will never make friends.

but one definition that struck me the most was that 'a friend is someone who will stay with you forever'.

on that requirement, i am about to stop being a friend to several special people, at the end of this year.

of cos, if your definitions of a friend arent so strict, i guess we can keep in touch and continue being friends.
