both brazil and chileee are playing quite brilliantly! but that was a fantastic header by Juan, Chile's goalie was just that tiny bit too slow for the ball...

i was actually secretly hoping it would stay even so i'll get to watch some penalty action, but that doesn't look likely..

OMG. ANOTHER GOAL!!! THAT was a fantastic run. good show, fabiano! the goalie was just flailing helplessly there.. i mean it was like watching a video game, the kind where you have to jump over obstacles and stuff? hahaha it was fantastic to see fabiano dodging all those obstacles (especially hopping over the goalie) and finally get to the goal.

a good first half! i hope brazil wont slow down their play too much to play defensive. chile had their chances, they managed to find openings a couple of times i thought, but then they made little mistakes like kicking the ball too far when their teammate is like, a few yards away and in a more convenient position to score the goal. :/ but they're putting up a challenge to the brazilians and i THINK if they keep up their aggression they still have a chance of equalising!

second half. i spy, with my little eye...an ass-grabbing incident. o_o *awkward*

sadly brazil is unstoppable now. 3-0! chile's manager is now looking like an angry hobbit.

Chile is still playing bravely for a team that's down by 3 goals... though i guess, they have nothing to lose now. that shot by Valdavia...!! sailed just over the net. serious heart pain.

ok that is at least 3 near-misses by Chile in the second half. very frustrating. COME ON NET ONE IN CHILEEE!

edit: 4.19AM

last brave attempt by Chile, but cleared by Maicon. oh well. both sides played well, brazil slightly better... but i don't think they're perfect, they had their off moments too, and quite a number of them (i think). i guess the lesson today is that while my favourite mantra these days is You Never Know, sometimes you DO know, and a lot of people knew Brazil was going to beat Chile today. and they did.. so there ya go.
