through the KVLT magazine website, which denise is/was (as usual time is a vacuum during exam period) interning with, found another awesome!! website.

BOOOOOOOM

WILL THE AWESOMENESS NEVER STOP!! its little gems like this that remind me how awesome people can be, and then i dont hate them so much anymore.

(just kidding. i dont really hate people. *shifty eyes*)

i went to the biennale last saturday, not sure if ive mentioned that. it was good but it seems to be at polar opposites with things like NOTCOT and that website i just linked. i duno. the artwork was just, so...introspective, and in many ways dark. i left the city feeling exhausted, like i was burdened with thoughts, not that thats a good or bad thing. but compare that to things like this that leave you feeling light and spirited.

of course not all the works were like that. there were some that were just gorgeous, and funny, and eye-opening. but for the most part, i think, artists are trying too hard to put meaning in their work? trying too hard to make a point. not that im in any position to say anything, but i just think that when you create something beautiful be it with music or art or writing, somehow the meaning will come through without you trying to force it.

just a two cents' worth.

and now i have to go back to studying. :( medical negligence cases are the hardest to read. now i've been scarred forever, and i can never trust surgeons again..
