} oh Lords

im finally getting down to sitting down properly to study for the torts final next monday, and im resorting to power 98 fm for some noise and company. a bit reminiscent of o levels, although things felt a little more certain then. now i feel like im doing a lot of work, but i dont know if it will come to any good. i dont think i trust myself to remember all these things that im reading and typing and copy-and-pasting from everywhere. arggh. i should have started earlier. (the quintessential statement which i always make before every exam, without fail.)

anyway, so i dont know if im studying/preparing the 'right way', but im just trying to...have fun (?) and gain from this as much as possible, i guess. its tedious but in a way fun to read the judges' judgments... even if i dont agree, even if they're dead boring, i have to commend on the good work that judges do. some of the situations that come along are so complex that it must be hard to make sense of it all.. and then there are those few cases where the judges seem to just throw their hands in the air and say, 'there you go, its not really following the rules, but we're just trying to be fair, and this is the best we can do.'

even these people that we hold in such high esteem... in the end we're all just doing our best, right? :/ so, in any case, i guess all that remains to be done now is to just do my best and, after all, my final grade wont necessarily be reflective of how much i've enjoyed this course. :)

oh man i sound like sucha nerd. oh well i am.

hahaha apparently barack obama is a comic book fan who's read the whole harry potter series. hahaha thats just so funny and adorable that i dont really know what to say. i wonder if he was as disappointed with the last book as i was.

anyway, good luck to everyone for their exams. ;) we're all just struggling here.
