} the science of sleep

i've been having the strangest dreams... 2 nights ago i dreamt about the movie the Science of Sleep, by the brilliant Michel Gondry, which is funny considering the title of the movie, and also because i never actually watched the movie before. i just happen to know what its about... so i dreamt about someone who couldnt tell dreams and reality apart.

then last night, i dreamt of going on an obs-like expedition... but i only dreamt up to the 'going' part, i didnt really go on the real thing, yet. haha. after that i woke up, and when i went back to sleep i dreamt of going to an award show. except that it was an amateur thing, and apparently i knew the actors/actresses and i wished them good luck and then i went to find my seat. and i sat next to my friend, and then it turned out that it was just going to be a screening of movies and then they would announce a winner, so it was really more like a film festival rather than an award show, and i remembered telling my friend that if i knew it was going to be like this i wouldnt have come because i had to be studying for my a levels. ...haha??

the strange thing about my dreams is that it always have a semi-reality to it, so during the dream everything always makes perfect sense, and i only realise that nothing links up when i wake up. or is that how dreams are like for everyone too?
