} another rant - from the other side of the fence

yay france won against portugal! :) but its not the sort of win that gets you all excited and hyped up.. the only goal scored was a penalty kick. -_- (it was a good kick by zizou, though. :]) france definitely didnt play as well as they did against brazil... and i thought the referee was somewhat biased (against portugal). :/ but oh well. thats just from my point of view.

so im kind of having doubts about france's chances about winning the cup. in terms of the team, italy is probably better. but i'd like to think that zidane's skills are unrivalled. :) then again, the team has mostly been depending on him to get to this stage, and im not so sure i want a team like that to win the world cup. :S yes you can name other star players like henry, vieira, the youngster ribery, etc.. but i somehow feel that zidane has been the main inspiration for the team.

i dunno if this is possible, but i want italy to win and zidane to come out a winner at the same time. cos he really deserves it, for everything he has done for the french. (like in harry potter: ireland win, but krum gets the snitch! :))

anyway, it seems that i have found other people who were even more devastated at england's loss than me. now i know that we are all angry at cristiano ronaldo, but to come up with this?

thats just damn ridiculous. going too far. seriously. i mean i also thought rooney would get back at him but that was merely my sadistic imagination, haha. rooney wouldnt be so low to really beat the guy up ... T_T and its really stupid and uncalled for to criticise his every move in the match between portugal and france. and setting up a website all about that. thats just stupid. and immature.

you dare to say that ronaldo has no sportsmanship, when you are the one setting up a website, viewable by the entire world-wide public, which insults ronaldo so heavily! now that's having no sportsmanship.. england may have lost, but they lost gallantly, but YOU as the english fans are seriously a shame to english football. im disgusted.

ronaldo may be a pretty boy, and he may be suspiciously resorting to dirty play at times, but for goodness' sake just leave him alone. he can drown in his own shit and guilt, ok? just by creating the website you have just made england nothing but sore losers in the world's eyes. wow thanks a lot, jackass.

phew. ok glad i let that out. but seriously, its so stupid. isnt the world cup about sportsmanship and making friends with people of other countries? ok, so maybe its fine to be grumpy about a loss for a while, but no need to carry it on like that, you got to get over it eventually. and keep optimistic. thats really the only way you can continue to support your team.
