} happy new year

2010 is moving so fast that my body clock isn't quite following. when it was christmas i didn't really realise it (although i watched 2 christmas movies in a row). i'm slowly adjusting because now i FINALLY feel like it's Christmas, except that its not. now it's New Year's Eve, which feels very surreal, because 2010 just started right? right??

at the same time it feels like 2010 took FOREVER to pass. the world cup felt like a long distant past. i keep forgetting whether my moots were this year or next year. i guess it must be the effect of law school, where Two And A Half Minutes Feel Like A Lifetime.

my mum has been going around vacuuming and throwing things out, which is awesome. i need to do that for my stuff too. i have a growing suspicion that ants have build a nest on my study table (which i dont actually use to study). first thing on the agenda for the first morning of 2011!!

i kind of wanted to post something reflective and thoughtful but

........................................

edit: had to leave the house. to join in dwayne's hare-brained scheme of running from the stadium to the waterfront to catch the fireworks. we didnt make it past the bridge towards the flyer. so we ended up running back, and taking the train, and running up the exit to catch the fireworks. ......

it was such a funny way of spending new years eve though. i kind of wish the plan had worked out, and it would've been pretty epic. but this was, a pretty epic way to start the year too. :D
