} end of summer

first week of school passed by pretty quickly. i guess i transitioned into it quite fast.. i wasn't having much of a holiday in the first place, with work and all (i was working 5 days a week during the last week of the holidays...) so it wasn't that hard getting back into the rhythm of not slacking.

only thing i need to get used to is sitting still for more than an hour at a time and pay attention!! very important because i've got my eye on the EVIDENCE PRIZE this semester and evidence lectures are... 3 hours long. fantastic. and the subject looks quite painful so far. :/

its a bit late to post about it, but Inception was such a very very amazing movie!! i really have to get a DVD and watch it over and over. i also just watched 500 days of summer on dvd recently, and i have a small crush on joseph gordon-levitt. but have to say that i like him more in Inception, i prefer the smoother/cooler side of him. 500 days of summer is pretty good but not really something to rave about. the acting was good though :) and the character ideas, portrayals were very realistic.

i've gotten the date of my piano exam, which is less than a month away now, so im practising like craazy. well not really cos im still keeping it somewhat of a secret from my mum. thank goodness for afternoon/evening classes that allow me to practise in the morning! it makes me feel so good to be into something this deep, especially something non-school or work related. it makes me feel like im once again remembering the things that i love.

found out that theres a pop/contemporary art gallery in orchard, looking forward to visiting it soon especially since it's currently exhibiting a japanese artist who looks v interesting. im slowly building a list of galleries to keep in view! and a list of favourite artists. :) with every new discovery i feel that im just a little bit closer to my Dream. harhar.

but for now i need a hot shower and some sleep because i CANNOT BE LATE FOR OCEAN LAW TOMORROW.
