} mind excursion

hmm i haven't studied very hard but i still feel burnt out. how much lazier can i get?? maybe because the figurative summer is drawing closer, i feel only in the mood for making paper crafts. yes. i have not done crafts since secondary school but right now the first thing that comes to my mind is paper crafting.

my journey into the world of Equity & Trusts hasn't been very pleasant. it was like i expected marshmallows, but got rock candy instead. really hard rock candy. and then halfway through i hold out hope that it is the mint kind with the chocolate filling inside, but it's not. it's just rock candy.

and then i tried psycho-ing myself that i like rock candy, but it is a particular candy which is hard to love, like a lollipop. so i ended up eating it and eating it but i seem to be nowhere close to finishing it. i gnaw and chew at it but it's no use cos it's too hard. each layer i break away is paper-thin so it seems Never-ending. (which is, of course, not true. if i started eating the lollipop at the start of the semester i might have finished it.)

and tomorrow's paper is like a sudden buffet being spread in front of me, so i am scrambling to finish the lollipop cos i don't like to waste food, but in the end i have to throw it out anyway and just go for the buffet cos, you know, there's a time limit for the buffet.

except doing the exam is not going to be quite as pleasurable as a buffet spread. :/

although if i could choose any particular lawyer i'd like to be, i'd want to be one of those family wills lawyers from olden times. and then i could also be part detective to catch all those crooked nephews/grandchildren/cousins/etc who like, poison the dying person in his sleep. and then i will be everybody's favourite wills lawyer and i will be RICH and i can buy an aston martin and ride through the streets of loooooondon townnnnnnn 8)

(except i'm not sure if women were allowed to work yet in those days. or wear pants.)
