} new year's greeting

at first, at the end of 2007, i wanted to have this big huge entry of reflections of ...everything. how i've changed and grown so far. or how i think i've changed & grown so far. but now:
1. im too lazy
2. i have 2 essays to write before people come over at noon
3. i have 6 belated xmas cards to write before said people come over at noon
..so i should really keep it short.

anyway most of this year just involves a lot of realisation. and acceptance. coming to terms with myself, seeing my weaknesses. not always a pleasant experience, but still i always say that 2007 was a good year. (reminds me, still havent watched A Good Year yet..) not always knowing what to do to improve myself either, or not always having the courage to do it. hope to work on that.

and, yknow, and i take this from Utmost for his Highest (this book is really one of the best bday presents i've gotten srsly, although i sometimes avoided it and didnt always agree with it): Let the past sleep, but let it sleep on the bosom of Christ.

what i THINK it means (cant know for sure since i dun even know what 'bosom' means) is i shouldnt hold on to the past, but i shouldnt let go, either? the past cant be undone, but i can build upon it. ...or something. im losing focus already here. haha.

leave it up to God, i guess. something i've been struggling to accept. but God, if i can do that, could you make 2008 a good year? (cos, as i've learnt from National Treasure 2, just because i know You can do it doesnt mean i dont need to ask. =)haha.)

well, some NY resolutions (i've broken number 2 already subconsciously...baahhhh):
1. learn how to ride a bike
2. stop biting fingernails
3. do not be late........
4. have courage to try new things
5. stop judging pple/be humble and friendly hahah =)

and now my New Year's greeting:

Good morning 2008! Pleasure to meet you. =)

..aha. =P
