} good things

today is a good day for many reasons.

1. i survived a day in the FREEZER known as the third floor of toa payoh library.

2. not only did i survive, but i managed to do some work too!

3. i caught the last episode of Jamie's Chef! always wanted to watch but kept forgetting, but i managed to catch the very last one at least.

4. i found a BRILLIANT way to find songs on Multiply. turns out the best way to find songs is NOT by searching the artist, OR the song title, but by the ALBUM TITLE. cos people tend to upload whole albums! so i found a bunch of songs that way, although im a bit hesitant to download too many since i still want to hear some new sounds when i get the real cds. (when. not if. i WILL get my hands on those cds*!)

5. figured out why one kt tunstall song sounded so familiar. its because part of it has been playing on that irritating channel 5 transition-between-shows-clip with michelle chia (somewhat stripping) in it! sorry it doesnt sound like a big deal but im very happy when i figure out links like this, and i get very frustrated otherwise. i also like figuring out where i've seen a certain actor/actress before...i'd spend the whole show trying to figure it out, then checking the 'answers' on imdb, haha. ok im such a nerd.

6. i found out what has been happening in myanmar, finally. thanks to novita.

7. i had ice cream. yum!

8. im just happy today. although im nowhere in my revision, and i am still screwed (but now i only allow myself 2 seconds of panicking every time, so here goes: AHHHH. IM FREAKING. SCREWED. ..ok done) and i am back to square one in all my decisions for the 'future', everything. and i duno where i can find a job after a's. oh well. one worry at a time, and the A's is a big enough thing already. but anyway, like i said, despite this uncertaintyness, im still strangely happy.

im not sure if its too early to be happy, so im not adding this to the list, but i found this... Stop Pemiskinan 2015. its like an indonesian version of the Make Poverty History campaign, except we dont have a cool slogan to rhyme with 'pemiskinan' (poverty). i guess the gp approach would be to stand far away, look at the whole picture and raise an eyebrow skeptically, but personally.. im hopeful.

ok got to go sleep and wake up early tomorrow.
