} the worst thing that could happen

i used to think that it would be going blind. i guess the right answer should be losing a loved one, but im very selfish, and i dont think i can decide yet which loved one would make it the 'worst'. anyway. now i think parkinson's disease, or something else that makes me lose the use of my hands, may be just as bad. i haven't decided which one would be worst.

i suddenly thought of this in the shower, and so i started thinking of all the things i COULD still do if i went blind (touchwood).. i could learn braille, which is pretty cool. i could go to the doctor more often to get my ears cleaned (which is fun) since they would be much more important if i dont have eyes. i probably couldnt draw anymore, or write, or read, or watch performances and movies, or see people's faces, or watch tv... ok now its starting to sound really bad. anyway. but i could learn pottery, which is also fun. i could still play guitar. it would be much more difficult, but then i could be like the blind busker at orchard road. i think he's so cool cos he doesnt need to see what he's playing.

but what if i couldnt use my hands? these things that have been so important to me since, my whole life. they played the piano when i still loved it, they doodled, they typed words on the computer, they played Typer Shark (yea man!), they wrote, they played the guitar. guitar, guitar. what would i do without all that? then again, would it still mean so much to me if i cant even see what the heck im doing?

haha ok i think im just being random and wasting time instead of doing the physics ijc paper and the chem specimen paper like im supposed to. oh well. im awake and i have a can of coffee (that doesnt belong to me but no one has drunk it in almost a week, so) so i am up for a long night. and theres a lot of shows on tv tonight.

anyway i guess even if i do get parkinson's (touchwood), i would be able to play the most superb tremolo. haha. thats quite cool.
