life is not complete before you

1. attempt to cut your own hair
2. and fail miserably at it.

haha. should just ask yingri to help me next time. cant wait for my next (proper) haircut.

so yesterday, we went back to ij to wish the juniors good luck for njrc. before i received glory's sms i didnt even realise it was njrc period, haha. my memory is that bad... or maybe i've been studying too much? (..nah.) sadly, when i first went into the new arc room, there was nothing left in the room to bring back any flood of memories, and the only person i recognised was ms lim. haha. but as we came out of the room julienne and carmen came flying with their high-frequency shrieks (that can cause resonance in pure substances with the same natural frequency making them vibrate at maximum amplitude... physics) and as i hugged them all the memories started to come back. i guess its the people that really matter, beyond our journals that were so gigantic that none of them would fit in my room.

but people come and go. and by next year, should we pay a visit to the arc room, we wouldnt know anyone at all... except ms lim at least. and arc will be something totally foreign to us.

..or maybe not?

as i read their blog, their updated posts.. when i see their new arc room, which really just looks like a classroom, isnt that where arc started out? true, ij may not be as reputable there as we were before, but it was never about the awards to begin with. it seems to me like arc is going back to its humble beginnings that MET told us so repeatedly about.. and i think thats ok. as long as everything is done the way it was always supposed to - in the spirit of fun, joy, laughter, and friendship.

anyway after going back to ij we went to long johns for lunch, and to study. at about 5pm we got chased out though. which was weird.. we could sit there during peak hours but at 5pm - a weird time for lunch OR dinner - we got chased out?? and there were so many other people studying?? sigh. never mind, being the nice understanding people that we were (haha) we left in search for another place to study. everywhere was crowded though, sadly.

bah. when i open my cafe next time i am SO going to let students study there. but all tables will have this cool alarm thing that will beep noisily & irritatingly if they dont order something every 2 or 3 hours (havent decided) MWAHAHA. and i will make friends with smart people and teachers and on study nights they can come down so students can consult them. eg., 'TONIGHT WE HAVE THE ENGLISH PROFESSOR FROM XXX UNIVERSITY, PLS DIRECT ALL QUESTIONS ABOUT WRITING AQ TO HIM'

.. or something like that.

oh well.

anyway just now on tv i saw this very very cool million dollar acoustic guitar and i cant find a nice full picture of it but here's a small glimpse:

actually thats just the cheaper imitation of the million-dollar one, cant get any pics of the real one cos i dont know the name of the model and when you search 'million dollar guitar' on google you'll find that EVERYBODY claims they're million-dollar. -_-

but look at it!! soooo pretty. especially the engraving... IN PEARL! MY GOODNESS. IT IS SO PRETTY. ok i have just made it one of my life goals to have enough money to buy one of these next time.
