} yay photos

the Most Important Lesson Learnt for the Day is:

when buying batteries for a digital camera, do not be cheapo and go for the cheapo ones. because those will die out within 10 seconds of being used in the camera. -_-

luckily, i managed to find some high power batteries after digging around my parents' work table, so i was able to switch on the camera for longer than 10 seconds... im finally uploading the photos from the last milennium too, cos apparently my parents never uploaded anything from the old camera. since im obviously procrastinating while writing my reference & leaving cert stuff, here are some (ok fine it's quite a lot) old photos:

a ramp facility for the disabled. for our research for FLL 2004, since the theme was on the technologies for the disabled. it looks pretty steep and unsafe actually, come to think of it...

whats this? a blur photo of some underground terrorist group activity??

..nah. its just some convent girls having a barbecue..at night...in the school compound. i miss being able to stay late in school actually. at that campus we could have camped over and no one would know.

same group of people, this time at pastamania. these are the bored looking people...

..while THIS is the cool table. lol.

one of our badly sewn mascot costumes! aha. sorry su. i'll take it down if you want. =P

adeline's performance with the Risen Christ church choir, at one of the exhibition events at ACM. i was standing some metres away and this was the clearest picture i could get...

a more close-up picture, probably taken after the performance at the back. you can tell who adeline is cos she's the only one smiling directly at the camera..

so we toured the exhibition after watching the performance (which was good, btw, but i couldnt get a good recording of it).

but i think we probably weren't allowed to take photos in there..

..cos the things that i managed to take photos of...

..obviously have nothing to do with Christian or Vatican history..

..at all...

..still, they were kind of cool.

btw, my brother is a camwhore. you'll be more convinced later.

my birthday. i was concentrating hard on cutting the cake. i think. you cant tell cos by that time i was already sporting an emo fringe. (waaay before paul twohill, man.)

anyway, fast forward a few months and its my brother's bday...

apparently, my brother decided that looking bored = looking cool.

unfortunately, he forgot to do it here

and here.

fast forward a bit more, and its my sister's bday!

my sister's ex boyfriend. he is a nice guy. but i will always remember him as the guy who asked me what instrument I play after i told him that im in the school's guitar ensemble... (btw did you notice the words on his shirt, ha ha.)

my sister is obviously the most good-looking one in the family. my brother is employing his new trying to be funny technique.

my grandma visited us. im not sure why everyone's expressions turned out like that lol. but i was obviously thinking, 'why am i wearing the same shirt as the previous photo although it's a different day?'

see? camwhoring again.

a beautiful sunset, taken with a blurry camera. =|

we got this after robbing a bank. btw, its quite scary that i actually have some vague idea of what that chemical compound on the note is. somehow having A-level knowledge feels quite cool and scary at the same time. like, is a normal person supposed to know this much? o_o

and lastly, my mum's blurry attempt at a photo during our guitar concert last year... featuring guitar 3, 4 PEOPLE STRONG WOOHOO.

anyway, i dont know if i have blogged about this before but before an exam i always get sudden obsessions with other things, especially tv shows. last year's promo it was Ouran, this year's common test 1 it was Honey and Clover, before common test 2 it was...just all TV shows in general, especially ellen & the biggest loser & the apprentice (martha stewart). this time it's the drama Nodame Cantabile.. cant help it, cos it makes me so nostalgic about syf times and about my childhood dream of becoming a concert pianist.

anyway, the male lead is very good-looking:

haha.

im going to have a CONCENTRATION CAMP this coming national-day-long-weekend though, hopefully it works and i'll do well for prelims! aha..
