"Today, there are no permanent friends, only permanent interests."

sounds a bit harsh, but as ms chen discussed the question today during GP i couldnt help but wonder a bit if some friendships I have are a bit superficial. I duno, and i dont want to over-analyse... but one point that kind of disturbed me was something about convenience. like, people who are friends and hang out together because it's convenient, cos they're schoolmates etc and they cant help but see each other a lot. but after graduation, they wont bother to meet up anymore, cos its just not convenient to do so anymore.

i thought about that a bit. i thought about my classmates, cca mates, and other school friends. but fortunately i couldnt think a lot cos:

1. i was having cramps
2. my nose was dripping like CRAZY

i duno why, but halfway through GP i started to sneeze, and then i started to feel like sneezing but the sneezes didnt come out, so it was all building up inside my nose. and my eyes were watering, etc. after GP it was ok, though. i guess it means im allergic to GP?? o.o

oh well. anyway it turned out the essay question is a political one, and its really not much about true friends and all that blah, so yeah. but i hope the friends i've made are true, and the friendships will last, cos goodness knows im so terrible at making friends. ha ha.

harry potter movie tomorrow! so far i've heard that it's not that great, cos it doesnt live up to the book. but. haha. come on lah. the other 4 movies didnt have everything from the book either, and if you've noticed the book gets thicker from the first one to the 5th one, so its been harder and harder to turn the book into a movie unless they make a 10-hour one. i think i'll be happy with the movie, it looks good. im only expecting better acting, which im sure i'll get since the actors are older now. looking forward to seeing emma thompson, hope she gets more appearance in this movie. and tonks! she looks cool. haha.

and to round up a pretty much good week my common tests results so far are SADDD... im very happy & relieved haha, i was really expecting the worst. =) i was afraid my extra work wouldnt pay off, but it did! it really did. i guess its true that once you've done your best, God will take care of the rest (haha that rhymes). and i think i lucked out a lot this time too...judging from the number of MCQ ans that i got correct! haha. i dont think my parents will be able to see it in the same perspective though... haha.

oh well. should be getting back econs on mon. hopefully it will be good & hope others will get what they wanted too.

oh and btw, something i found amusing:

No bad words were found.

and now, i direct you to the title of this extremely angsty and angry post from 2 years ago.... (pls dont read on as you'll find more examples within the post itself.

HAHA.

btw, i realised that that entry is quite relevant as in it was also written during post-exams period, but just wana say that the feelings i vented out are entirely irrelevant now. =/ i find it quite funny and abit embarrassing that i complained so much just about some stupid thing, haha. man i hope i never offended too many people everytime i wrote a post like that. i dont think i was even THAT pissed about the issue, i think it was all written 'in the moment', like just a flare up. well that was smart of me, to have tantrums on a public blog. =|
