so today i decided to go to the national library to get my readings for h3 chem, since half of it consists of bio which i dunno anything about. the reference library, despite being so big, is a disappointment though. i couldnt find the books that i needed, and for some reason most of the bio books (in other libraries, as well) were on loan.

from the 7th floor (the science section) i had to go up to the 11th to get a bio book which was, for some reason, in the singapore collection. so i climbed the stairs up to the 9th floor, only to find that there are no stairs up to the 11th! how ridiculous is that! why connect the different sections at all if you're only going to do it halfway. =| so i had to get out of the library, take the escalator, and go in again at the 11th floor. and in the end IT WASNT EVEN THE BOOK I WAS LOOKING FOR.

by that time i was feeling quite annoyed, cos 1. i wasnt finding the books i needed, 2. i had gotten 3 'checks' on my belongings by the security guard(s), and 3. on one of those checks i had to get a locker just to store a highlighter. a HIGHLIGHTER! i felt so dumb just putting that highlighter in the locker, then locking it...

i hate the national library.

but i keep going there anyway. i dunno why. oh well at least i never got caught with my notes.

so anyway, at that point i was quite fed up already so i just looked through whatever books i could find and went down all the way to B1 to the central lending library, taking the escalators just cos i wanted to be annoying and activate ALL the escalators, aha. (the escalators only run when theres someone about to go up/down. quite cool.)

wanted to see if theres anything useful that i could borrow, but the bio books i found there looked quite rubbish, so... i borrowed comic books instead. =)

progress on other subjects revision has been quite dismal too. i finished one compre (timed!) this morning but still got a summary and AQ overdue from last week's compre.. did a chem rev worksheet but got stumped at the last question.. attempted to study from the physics revision package and am still struggling at kinematics. D: why oh why did i pick such a brain-asploding subject combi.
