today's attempt to clean out the rest of my desk wasnt so successful. =( i was in a less ruthless mood today, so i couldnt bear to throw away most of the junk that was in the top cupboard... either that, or those things do have value, i really cant decide.. so i decided to take a break from it and do my chem periodicity tutorial instead. =P

well i finished it! hehe. though i left one qn blank, but nvm, i was totally stumped at that one anyway.

oh, and although I wasnt so productive today... i did have a lot a lot of fun. =D going through really old stuff (REALLY old...like 8-9 years ago) brought back such a great wave of nostalgia! i found stuff from when we were ABOUT to move to singapore... my sister and me drew these little comic strips about it, i couldnt stop laughing for a while cos i found them so funny for some reason. and then i found bits of doodles from sec 1 year.. although it wasnt the best year i had in ij, i still get a lot of great memories from it! i miss joan, the way she's so frank, and although a bit pervertic at times but still very nice... i remb she even stuck up for me once, we were playing cards and her friend from another class came over, and for some reason or another she called me a nerd. and joan was like 'she's not a nerd!'. and..yeah. small thing but it felt so cool then. haha. and i miss bernadette fah, who never ever let anyone call her bernie, haha. since she will never read this (i think) i'll do it now. bernie bernie bernie bernie bernie...! =) she's so crazy, and scary, but also nice in a way. she's the kind of person who you'll feel glad to have on your side, like you DONT want to be enemies with her, yeah.

and i found various other treasures, like the booklet i received during the very first time i went to the school, for a welcome session or something, cant really rmb. it was during the holidays i think, and we were put into our classes then. and theres a lot of info in the booklet like the school song, the list of facilities etc etc. i realise i LOVE IJ i mean i didnt just realise it but i re-realise it now haha. and i love the old school building. and i WISH I COULD GO BACK TO SECONDARY SCHOOL NOW. =( its so fun..and easy..and relatively stress-free argh. =( not that i totally hate jc but thinking back on those times really makes me wish i could go back.

OH and i found a little instruction sheet on how to play a recorder, like the finger positions for various notes and such. so i decided to be nostalgic and gross and picked up and played my recorder from the deep recesses of dust known as my drawer. =) i can play the Pirates tune on recorder! ahahahaha. beat that. and i started playing random simple tunes like happy birthday and baa baa black sheep and TRIED to play 'guess the song' with my brother but gave up after abt 2 songs cos he was busy playing hp games and i sucked too much haha. and after that i had to put my recorder back in the deep recesses of dust cos my mum said she was getting a headache. =x

ah, well. so going through my old stuff has been a really fun time, even though i didnt find any money this time (i found a $50 note the last time.. 8D).

i missed half of the ellen show again today, cos I KEEP THINKING ITS AT 5. and in the morning ch5 was playing the live broadcast of miss universe, so... =( only had half an hour of ellen today! =( sigh. but it was a funny episode! =D they had this animal...person bring in lots of different animals to the studio, and there was OWLS.. yey i like owls. and ellen found an innate ability to communicate with owls, lol. as in, she could 'woo' at them and they would 'woo' back, although of course she didnt know what sort of stuff she was saying to the owl. but it was really cute. and im rambling. and i just pressed the 'back' button accidentally BUT its ok cos i pressed fwd and all is not lost thanks to Temporary Internet Files. =D

phew. ok.

my mum made me watch Our Makan Places Lost & Found and take down all the stalls featured. so one day we're going on a hunt for good food. im looking forward to the dumplings and beef kway teow! ...although, knowing my mum (and me) it will probably never happen and we'll lose the paper sooner or later anyway.

and i watched the new show (is it new? never seen it before) Chakia & Sneakers... and uh ok it was quite dumb. basically this mother-son pair decided to switch fashion styles.. the mother looks like a typical auntie while the son is a punk with 14 body/face piercings and tattoos all over his arms. and the show's objective is to bridge the generation gap between these two people by making them exchange styles... smth like that.

but HELLO. young DOES NOT EQUAL 14 body piercings and black clothes and tattoos... i dont even dare to pierce my ears. =| if the mother cant appreciate her son's fashion taste then i can understand perfectly. -_- i mean, go all through all that trouble and all that pain just to make a fashion statement? bishh.

haha ok and yea im watching a lot of tv once again cos unlike other people im actually a loser with nothing to do. =| suhui is in the UK now, having fun and meeting british people, denise prob just got back from cameron highlands (is it cameron? or genting? i cant even rmb already), weijun went for her geog trip yesterday morning, anita is going back to indo in 4 days, novita is going back to indo in (if im not wrong) 8 days... =|

oh well. =(

shall just continue cleaning out my stuff (need to move on to closet soon), doing homework, watching tv etc... it actually feels quite nice and relaxing, to have such an un-happening life. really. im not just consoling myself ok. =|
