} while we are still young

my computer is ok again! (I CAN WATCH YOUTUBE AGAIN =D) my dad worked magic on it heh. =) as always. i dunno what im going to do without him. i dunno what im going to do without my parents, come to think of it. sometimes i cant wait to go to uni, live out on my own... but at the same time its scary, the thought of having only myself to depend on when anything bad happens. eg., if my computer spoils again, what am i gonna do hahaha.

ok that wasnt such a great example. but yeah, i guess one of the realisations of growing older is that, when we're younger, we had so many 'layers' of protection.. teachers, grandparents, older siblings maybe, parents, and they helped to cushion our falls so it's never too painful.. but sooner or later, these people will leave one by one, not because they want to but because they have to, and we all will have to face the world with nothing shielding us.

kind of scary.

but being with the brudders yesterday reminded me that no matter how much older i feel, i am still young. we are still young. and its the best time to do crazy things. like..

haha jim is an egomaniac. and i forgot to draw bob's bday hat in the 2nd frame. =x but yeah the point of the strip is that the best present anyone can get is GREAT FRIENDS. and yea i do feel very very blessed. and i dont think everyone will read this but anyway, since im feeling so grateful at the moment.. (warning: oscar moment coming)

thank you wanjun for the overpriced but nevertheless nice cake with a chim-sounding name aha. and thanks for the nice walk woohoo. when i said i felt like walking home & you just said 'ok' without any questions or anything i just felt =). so..yea! haha.

thank you anne marie for not only the sweet note you gave me on friday, but also the note you gave me before syf. that horrible wednesday i was feeling so so =S and scared but i felt so much better knowing i had your support. =')

thank you brudders for the pleasant surprise..! sorry i was a bit dead though cos i was so sleepy hahaha. but yea the cake, the ice cream, strawberries (oh man you all really brought a lot of food haha), the frame, the box, but more importantly all the stuff we've been through... our first njrc together, fll, frs, basketball times, oasis, livewire, lame jokes, lunches together, studying together, bus rides home, IJ, arc, haha im just typing stuff that comes to mind and its really really endless.. but yeah hopefully i will be able to convey everything to you guys, someday.

thank you to everyone kind enough to remind me that im getting old, especially amy who kindly rubbed it in and jennings who reminded me 3 times hahaha.

and of course thank you God for blessing me with all these great people around me. i do feel quite undeserving but i will try my best to..haha i dunno how to say it. become a better person i guess. =) and this entry took nearly an hour to type so i better stop here and do my chem assignment woohoo.
