} aha. ha.

one important thing that i learned over the past few days is that when someone has an issue with something, usually they will still say 'its ok' or 'im ok' or act like 'its ok' (unless they are v outspoken like... han ern). but they dont usually mean it 100% haha. and if i take the things they say and the way they act at face value, then i will really miss a lot of things. a lot of signs.

i dunno why i suddenly thought of it yesterday, i guess i was just inevitably stoning when i was bathing yest night cos i was so tired haha. pulled an all-nighter the day before so needless to say that wasnt so good for my brain...and my eyes...and the rest of my body... haha. i conked out during most lessons but somehow woke up a bit after pw results came out, luckily, so i was quite awake for guit practice. =)

i guess i felt quite cheated at first, but then again that wasnt really why i stayed up to finish the vid in the first place. (/vague)

pw results. friday the 13th lived up to its name i guess. fortunately my class didnt do as badly as some other classes in other schools (..sajc...), we got Bs and Cs. but i couldnt help feeling that it was unfair anyway, because i certainly know a handful of people who should have gotten an A, judging from their feedback forms and their eloquence at english etc. i mean, how could those people be on par with (lousy) ME? im stuck between feeling happy for myself and annoyed for others. the thing about internal marking is that there will always be schools like hwa chong who gave 85% of their students an A. disgusting. =| and it becomes a really unfair process.

take any good speaker from my class and compare him/her next to an average hwa chong student, and im PRETTY DARN SURE that the difference will be seen. i mean its quality grades we're talking about, 85% As is a BIT ridiculous dont you think.

guit pract cheered me up though haha. =D nowadays the only things i look forward to in school is lunch and guit practice, cos im getting so restless during lessons now and only mr neo's maths class can really keep me attentive haha. =) anyway, i thought practice was pretty good but i dont think it was very productive, and i really think we could have made better use of the time IF ONLY PEOPLE COULD PRACTISE MORE INDIVIDUALLY, AND NOT PRACTISE AS IN REPEAT THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER WHILE MAKING THE SAME MISTAKES, BUT ACTUALLY TAKING THE STEPS TO IMPROVE THEMSELVES INSTEAD OF STUBBORNLY STICKING TO THEIR WRONG WAY OF PLAYING EVEN IF IT MAY BE HARD TO CHANGE NOW. sorry. i really had to get that out.

and im starting to feel hard pressed for time now. i really dunno if we can do it because some g2 people's techniques are still TERRIBLY lacking but i will try my best to stretch and hopefully cover everything in time. cos trying doesnt depend on whether we know we can do it or not, yeah? yeap.
