} a place is a space with emotional attachment

going to the nus open house made me more confused than ever... i felt like my options are widened, because everyone makes their own faculty sound the most fun/interesting. T_T and since im so indecisive, my opinion is very easily swayed...

at the end of the day, i think i still want to study art though. its up to you to choose your own life's path, but never choose something just as an excuse. so i shouldnt compromise what i want with a next-best substitute, with the excuse that it would be safer or more realistic. ..i guess i sound super idealistic now, but. i dunno. i think i'd rather try than regret not knowing how it feels like to take the plunge. even if it means failing.

oh we went on a tour around one of the hostels today. we went to Temasek Hall. from the tour the hostel life sounds super fun ...although maybe a bit TOO socially happening for me, the ever-so-antisocial-and-unenthu one. =P although maybe thats because we went to tour around Temasek hall, which seems to be renowned for their competitiveness in both the sports and cultural production areas. i dont think i can make it there. ahaha. if only there was a hall with a slacker culture, i would definitely sign up for that one. =D (Slackers United!)

and according to suhui the residence hall is quite scary, with a crimson-room-like room, so... if i dont get a place in a hostel i would probably just stay at home or rent out an apartment next to the school. thats if i even go to nus. there are too many if's when it comes to thinking about this, so nvm.

i think i should just think about A level first.

in other news, i got a 2gb ipodshuffle-like china-brand ipod for $70. perfect deal for poor people like me hahaha. =D it seems to be ok so far, although it cheats me sometimes in the sense that it keeps playing the same songs although its supposed to play the songs randomly, and i have to keep skipping to get different songs everytime.

but whatever. for 70 bucks its really a good deal.

much thanks to suhui for accompanying me. and the girl at the booth for putting up with me. i must have spent half an hour just trying to decide whether or not to buy from that producer and then WHICH model to get. anyway, theres a 1-year warranty so theres plenty of time to check for glitches, unless within the span of one year they decide to run away and close down their store, or they program the player to automatically go crazy after 1 year. im just hoping neither happens.

intensive syf starts tmr.
