} late xmas celebration

watched Death Note! FINALLY. at suhui's house yesterday. cool movie, especially watching how the 2 main characters (Raito & L) outsmarted each other.

and with the Detective Conan i've been reading, and all the Monk episodes i've been watching, i have officially become obsessed with murder mysteries. i have gotten my brother addicted to Conan as well, and right now my dad is watching Monk ahead of me. but dont worry, i'll try not to spread the 'virus' around too much...

it rained the whole day yesterday! if i count the number of hours that i felt dry yesterday, it probably wont even add up to half of 24 hours. i like the rainy season actually. i dont even mind getting drenched from time to time, but yesterday was a bad time to be caught in the rain, because i had blisters on both feet and i wasnt even walking properly. ...ok im not sure how the blisters are linked to getting wet, but anyway having both on the same day is bad.

went to schezns house first, where we had an ultra long meeting and celebrated her bday. was quite funny but also a relief cos her last min bday plan worked out in the end. phew. now i have to collect $$ for the present. damn. im actually not even sure exactly who are sharing the present. i might end up forgetting about it in the end. i hope i dont because im going broke due to christmas shopping.

christmas is always my poorest time of the year. but its also when i feel richest, cos of all the family and friends i got to spend time with.

...wow that was actually pretty deep. like something people write on christmas cards. i should think about getting into an inspiring-quotes-writing business.

well anyway. then went to suhui's house, although i came too late so gloria already left. in the end there were only 4 of us, with ah boon and ah poot (suhui's sister & brother respectively).

btw, talking about siblings, i still dont see schezn's brother's resemblance to jack. /random

ok anyway. when i came they were watching the first harry potter movie, so i watched that movie. ha ha. back when it first came out i used to think that daniel radcliffe was really ugly. but comparing with the daniel radcliffe now, i realise that the small daniel radcliffe is very cute. its all einstein's theory of relativity i guess. just kidding. im not sure what im talking about.

after that we watched death note, which is really cool, but i already said this at the beginning of this post so why am i saying it again?

and all the time suhui's mum kept bringing us lots and lots of really good food and i almost felt guilty because we were being treated so well! well actually its always like that at her house. its really the home-like home i have ever been too, seriously. i really liked the meat and the dumplings, although im not sure about the shrimp paste thing whose name i forgot.

after that suhui showed us some youtube videos while her brother insisted that we watch jumanji. so i kind of watched both at the same time. then we exchanged presents.

this year i forgot totally about thinking about what i want for christmas, which is unusual because im such a greedy pig. but i really forgot, until i suddenly remembered while i was wrapping presents or something. so it felt extra special to receive presents cos each one felt.. extra special. haha. fear my limited vocabulary.

then denise and me went home in time to catch, like, the last buses. (it was past midnight). with this song stuck in our heads:

haha. those who watched Love Actually will understand. :P
