} teachers day

the holiday is finally here! yessss. :D

teachers day celebrations yesterday was ok.. it got a bit boring but the council skit was very lame. haaha. after the concert i met the guit pple to look for ms ng and ms masnidah. we found ms ng first, at the atrium, and sang to her the 2 songs that we prepared: stand by me and you are my sunshine. after that we found ms masnidah outside the library and we sang to her too... :)

all in all it was quite a good teachers day. although was quite disappointed that in the end the class didnt do anything together for ms chong. :/

after that i went back to ij kellock. masty ended later than me but i missed my stop so we both ended up being late, haha. luckily kellock was having a full day, so all the teachers were still in school. saw a few familiar faces although most of them didnt remember us... walked around and around looking for ms pereira but couldnt find her at first. in the end a teacher showed us her table and we saw her timetable and looked for her class. finally found her ! hahaha. we talked to ms pereira and i gave her my small present ... i had expected to talk to her more but in the end i was so tongue tied hahaha. i really didnt know what to say. it was nice seeing her though.

anyway i didnt think about seeing my malay teacher at first but ms pereira told me that i should go see cikgu. so we went back to the staffroom where masty went to talk to her juniors and i looked for cikgu sadiah.. she was so sweet .. didnt remember me at first because i changed a lot (i think) but when i told her im debby she just went 'OHHH' and was very warm and everything.. i was so worried she wouldnt remember me at all but she did. it turned out that theresa had gone back to see her a few times already and i didnt. i felt so bad. and she told me that shes retiring at the end of this year and i am SO SO SO HAPPY that i came back to kellock this year, or i wouldnt see her again.

i wish i had gotten something for her though. i just didnt think any other teacher would remember me other than ms pereira... but im glad at least i talked to her and saw her. i hope she will have a nice retirement etc. :)

it was 1pm by then and i went to ijtp while masty went home. i wish i could have spent a longer time to talk to her. :( but we'll see each other again soon... i hope.. it was nice seeing her after so long. :)

well by the time i reached ijtp the teachers were gone so i didnt see any of them.. but i met my brudders and my juniors and another ij girl who is now at sajc... went to eat lunch at the coffeeshop at the back of the school (where an ij girl recently got molested..what the hell. so scary). after that went to novitas house where we were supposed to do work but ended up slacking anyway (as usual). :P

THEN went to mos burger at tp for dinner to celebrate suhui's and clarissa's bdays! haha actually suhui's bday is yet to come and clarissa's bday is belated... hahaha. oh well. we got them such GREAT presents and the celebration was very fun. :)) we all also smsed MET the same teachers day message at the same time. hahahahahaha. very funny cos he asked novita if we were on an outing together but we told novita to pretend that she didnt know anything and act surprised that everyone else sent the same msg. haha!

took a lot of photos, then went to walk around tp central, kiddy palace to be exact. we were so easily fascinated by the toys. :P i guess all of us were very deprived children. :( hahaha. yup then we made our way home. it was a good day. :D

me and denise took 157 home together (so long since the last time we did that!!!) and talked about stuff we should do after... everything (i.e., exams, presentations, assignments, etc). i told her i would go online so we could talk more but in the end had to break my promise cos i started K.O.-ing at the com. -_- sorry denise!!! anyway i will come up with a list now:

- play house of the dead 4!
- try para2 and the drummer game at the arcade
- try kbox HAHA
- bake cookies/cake!
- learn how to ride a bike (for me at least..)

haha cannot think of any more at the moment.. :(
