} you are the hero

click me!

i think i put the video in my blog before. but if you havent seen it you should. seriously! its so so so so good. haha. his technique just makes the guitar seem even more awesome than it already is. :)

and the video is quite nice too. at first i didnt get it, but I think i know what its about now. basically its just saying that everyone, no matter who you are or what you do, is a hero in their own unique way. and it doesnt matter whether you touch one life or one thousand.

recently during PW we end up talking about stuff that are hardly related to the SMC at all. but i really dont mind, in a way it helps us to get to know each other a bit more, and how can i deny my grp members a bit of bonding time. haha. well anyway recently we have been talking about our dreams and ambitions. which is v interesting cos some of the ambitions are quite unexpected. haha. :)

but its quite sad though, cos i think whenever we talk about this sort of thing, somehow theres this small little feeling deep inside of us saying that these dreams are just dreams and we should buck up and wake up cos they're not going to happen.

which brings me to a dilemma which i have been having since, i dunno, forever. hahaha. to be idealistic or realistic? whats the difference between fighting for your ambition and chasing impossible dreams? where do you draw the line?

do you get up and say, 'IM GOING TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN', or do you give it up and take the 'realistic' route to a typical life, and settle with just being content?

its obvious which route i have been taking. but im still trying to gather enough courage to break out of it. :(

i think i will press on.

anyway. havent studied for econs test. blah. D: oh and sorry if my thoughts dont link up properly. they never do, haha.
