sigh. actually last night i was feeling ok already and i thought by today i would be able to forget about it. but seriously.. it was still all over the news, my parents were still talking about it, even the guy at the optics shop was talking about it! argh. i think i might go mad. x_x

'it' being, of course, england's tragic loss.

no matter what i just cant seem to shake off the thoughts of what could have been. if only, if only.

why am i making such a big deal out of it? sighh. its not even any of my business, is it? i shouldnt be so affected.

and beckham stepping down made it worse somehow. not because im obsessed about him or something. T_T because after reading the news i just started imagining how different it would be if he were to step down after a victory and not a loss.

aghh. :(

i need to get a grip! haha. well. anyway. i hope steven gerrard or john terry will take the captaincy. i think either one of them would make a good captain. i hope its not gary neville. i dont like him. :P

anyway you might not get it if you didnt watch the match... but basically rooney got a foul for stepping on a portuguese player, then as he was talking to the referee cristiano ronaldo just barged in and complained against him (wtf).. so rooney (the idiot!) lost his temper and shoved ronaldo. as a result he got a red card... ronaldo denies being the cause of the red card although he was seen winking while he was sitting on the bench afterwards.

i dont have anything against portugal though. i still like luis figo and deco and all the rest whose names i cant really remember. :P i just have a deep dislike for cristiano ronaldo. i have never really liked him actually, but i've always respected him as a player. until now. -_-
