} another short rant

the long weekend has finally ended. it felt like a holiday, cos i did quite a few things in just 3 days. i (mostly) slacked, (occasionally) worked, practised guitar, watched my first soccer match in ages, met up with my 4/2 classmates & MET and rediscovered the joys of Neopets. Hahaha. :)

after spending all this time slacking instead of catching up with my work (since im possibly the slowest in all my classes), i felt guilty for about 2 seconds. after those agonising moments however, i realised that i felt happy throughout the weekend and thats whats really important. :)

true, i may not be so happy later on when i see failing grades and find myself in trouble cos i never do my tutorials, but. haha. just let me live for the moment lah. :D

anyway, once again i feel an urge to comment on another controversial issue which is the whole Da Vinci Code/Gospel of Judas thing. i think there is no NEED for any controversy blah, these people are just making a big deal out of nothing really.

i mean, every religion is based on beliefs that cant really be totally proven by cold hard facts or mathematical equations. thats why there are different beliefs and naturally there will always be different theories that contradict one another. a religion is a faith. that means believing in something that may not have any solid proof of existence.

so if some different theory and belief comes up, and it contradicts your religion, then it is a question of your faith, not whether your religion is correct or not. because no religion can ever be accepted as being 'right' for everyone. so as long as you have faith in your religion, it doesnt matter how many contradicting proofs are thrown in your face. cos thats what having faith is all about.

...ok im done now. off to reading chemical bonding II (cos i still dun get any of it). have a good week ahead people :)
