yes, i've been influenced by gundam seed! hahaha. last night/this morning i managed to make the dvd player work (YES!) and i watched the last 4 episodes. RARRHARHARHARR the ending is so kadsiufiahiauhwoejawoeiaiuf

i have to say that the MOST CRUSHING MOMENT was when natarle finally decided to revolt against the shithole azrael, and ordered all hands to abandon ship. and azrael shot her numerous times and she was writhing on the floor and he commanded the guns to fire at the archangel... and mau was using his MS shield to protect the archangel, so he died. and capt ramius cried and fired back, THINKING THAT IT WAS NATARLE WHO FIRED AT THE ARCHANGEL BUT SHE DIDNT KNOW THE SACRIFICE THAT NATARLE MADE AND I FEEL SO RAAARRRHHH

and the WORST THING is that the anime producers inserted a lot of flashbacks at that part of when natarle was still capt ramius's second-in-command, and she was saying how natarle would make a good captain, and how she would like them to meet again, after the war.

WHY WHY WHY ???!?!?!?!?!!!!

the only other really really SAD part is earlier in the series, when kira and athrun were trying to kill each other because kira killed nichol, and athrun killed tolle. when both of them went into SEED/BASUKA mode it was just yeararRRGHHH

haha.

but the ending could have been better. 3 people crying in their space suits = not pretty.

plus there should have been a KIRA x LACUS moment at the end! instead the producers just showed the ring floating in kira's helmet. bish.

but i like the part where the tori flew out and everyone was going 'kira? wheres kira?' and it was a bit suspenseful because he might have died, but the tori proved that he was alive, but it could have been just a RED HERRING, so the audience could never be sure.

and it was nice how they explained fllay's annoyingly erratic behaviour.

overall, gundam seed is a MUST SEE if you are in need of a huge dose of angst. ask gek shan to lend it to you. haha.

oh yeah. i changed the layout. it scrolls sideways. i took 2 days to code it, because there are so many tables. T_T (view source if you want.) i kind of like it though so i'll probably stick with it for a while.

the layout uses large images, so if you cant see the layout it probably means that my geocities bandwith is eaten up, and you'd have to come back in about 1 hour. sorry about that. i have yet to find a good image host.
