so today i woke up. realised its already saturday. leaving for portugal next week, exactly. holidays ending straight after that. then comes school... then all the njrc preparations...sec 4 farewell... njrc... exams... holidays again. and after that im sec 4. wth. then its just FRS and endless revision until o level. then i probably wont be here anymore.

a thought like that can make me cry. damn.

not that i cried. i mean, it CAN make me cry it did NOT make me cry. yeap yeap.

yesterday was pure soccer robot torture... not only did the day begin with a 3-hour CIP session of hanging badly designed clothes but ALSO after that we (novita & me) had to endure the rest of the day... changing the robots' motors.

over. and over. and over. and over. again. just so that the robots can go straight.

after a rough calculation i found out that i must have screwed and unscrewed screws for over 400 times.

needless to say my arm/hand ached today.

we stayed in the arc room from around 1 to around 8. 7 hours of screwing/unscrewing. stef quek joined us halfway in this torture. we met a new security guard. :) who was nice. asked us what time we were leaving and all, didnt chase us out. but he locked the main gate AND the back gate. so when my dad came he wasnt too happy about being locked out. we 'ran' down the slope to look like we were rushing... stef's dad came to pick her up too.

drove novita home... then we got home too. i kept seeing fallen nuts on the floor. (thus the expression 'i'm going nuts.') i attempted to do e maths... but my brain was too tired and so i just fell asleep lah.

today.. we did CIP at ymca. fun. :) the ymca people are sooo nice. :D *cough*unlikesalvationarmy*cough*cough*. there was a jumble sale going on today at their HQ so basically we just manned the stalls.. quite fun lah. i found a nice book while manning the book stall. :)) and they gave us free lunch! salv army never gives free lunch.... they only have a vending machine. bah.

but the customers were so bloody rude. inconsiderate. one indian guy kept bargaining. in the end he got all his stuff for half the price... gawd i wanted to punch him lah. its already so cheap for goodness sake you want it to be how cheap man??? then there was another guy... dressed in some weird chef outfit thing... asking if he can buy a book that cost $7 for just $1... wth man. asshole.

but still. we should have done CIP with ymca from the beginning... should do more sessions with them next yr. :)) btw..now i have .. 40+ hours of CIP? :| im such a community-involved person.

then me and novita came back to school to do our soccer robot stuff. poor carmen had to stay back to wait for us to come... hahah poor girl. we finally found relatively matching motors... so the robots can run relatively straight. :) one good outcome of all this motor-changing business is that now i know the robot inside out. :)) unfortunately it didnt bring about any enlightenment about programming. :|

am almost at the end of angels & demons. very good book. gruesome deaths... can be v. creepy... makes you scared, but not just plain scared... i mean, like, kinda scared for the characters. dunno what's going to happen next. dan brown is a good writer. no wonder michelle likes his books so much. :| wonder how he knows so much stuff? :S

oh well. watched a bit of soccer just now. hope italy, portugal and england will move on to the quarter-finals. :S chances are thinning cos they got to fight some really strong teams like spain...france.. pshht. :S

ok i MUST do more e maths tonight.
